Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer found in American women (aside from skin cancer). It is estimated that approximately 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. While there are many treatment options available for early stages of breast cancer, battling this disease not only takes a drastic physical toll on someone; it is an immensely challenging mental battle as well.
Whether you are young or old; genetically at risk or not: it is incredibly important that everyone is well educated on the symptoms, care, and treatment associated with this cancer. Expanding your own knowledge on this disease will keep you informed on crucial warning signs to look out for. Not only that; but bringing awareness to Breast Cancer also makes strides in teaching individuals about the stigma and hardships that come with fighting this disease.
At Clutch Nails, we believe in giving back and supporting good causes. That’s why for the month of October, a portion of the proceeds from our Flower Power nails will be going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The BCRF is a non-profit organization that is committed to the researching and spreading awareness of Breast Cancer. You can read more about this organization and ways to help here.
