The Nail Biter's Guide to Beautiful Nails

We’ve all heard the phrase, “if you don’t succeed, try, try again,” BUT if you are anything like us, you have tried and tried to stop biting and picking at your nails, yet nothing seems to work. It’s not only frustrating, but it can leave you feeling self-conscious about the appearance of your nails. Thankfully, you are not alone on your nail-biting journey as almost all of us have been guilty of biting our nails at least once in our lives. Clutch Nails wants to help you have the best nails possible and for you look your best, but our nails stay on best when your nails are strong and grown out. Here is a nail biter's guide to having fabulous nails:

Figure out your Triggers
Nail biting usually stems from a form of anxiety. Pay attention to the situations you're in when you start biting your nails and it'll be much easier to develop an alternative coping strategy to get through your anxiety.
Take B-12 Vitamins
B-12 is essential for healthy hair, skin, and especially nails. The recommended dietary allowance for vitamin B-12 is 2.4 micrograms daily, which you can get from eating fish, meat, or taking daily vitamin supplements.
Get a Manicure
As much as we all hate the time and money wasted by manicures, that investment might just get you to stop biting your nails. When your nails are painted and looking good, why would you want to ruin them with biting and picking them? Also, the polish will have the added benefit of being gross-tasting which will likely prevent you from wanting to chomp down on them.
Treat Yo'self
Treat yo'self and reward yourself for every little victory you make. Haven’t bitten your nails in awhile? Go out and buy some cute new rings and accessories to show off your beautiful hands.
Celebrate with Clutch Nails
Nubbins no more! Once you have a nail that's grown out at least to the end of your finger, you can celebrate with a beautiful pair of Clutch Nails. They won't damage your natural nails, so when you take them off, you'll have gorgeous nails underneath as well.
